Put Silferberg as on LTIR as of Oct 3rd.

Is that how NHL LTIR works or is it based off of first day of season? I assumed all LTIR should be from day 1 of the season rather than the preseason/summer but any clarification would be helpful, as it implies to some of my players.

Always been able to apply retroactively.

Or given our weeks start Monday, do we make it retroactive to the 5th? To make it a true 4 weeks?
