I agree, 3.75 with ~4 years term is the upper end his play to date has suggested.

still a 4th rounder... plus, the fact they had to sign him didn't mean he would stay one more year in Finland (which is probably a wise decision though).

that's what it is supposed to happen with Vatanen i guess, but is still very different from losing the rights on the player, isn't it? plus, there would be left 2yrs of the ELC anyway.. Anaheim chose to sign Vatanen..

btw, players on ELC who stay in Europe i guess will get for that year the AHL salary on the two-way contract right?
