since i've been labelled as against the move, even if it's a dead issue i'd like to point out i was against switching assets, not necessarily against Tony getting SJ; some reasonings:

- getting a team with someone else's assets instead of yours.. i find it lame, i would never want to do that, but if he was fine with that, i have no problem

- this Summer didn't set a real precedent as this had a different motivation AND was a different situation: not moving assets, a new GM coming in -> the problem (it is a real drawback, not only for Mike) for our minds of having to associate the GM name to a different team was cut in half here; actually, cut in four, since our minds already associate Tony to both NYI and SJ (as a fan)

- it's a league made to bring the most fun to its participant, so Tony going to SJ was a move in the right direction for that matter; unless it takes out some fun for the other GMs...

- i see Mike's points, there are pro and cons in this, so it's an understandable decision anyway

For the record, if given the option I would have kept my current assets ... it was my understanding that doing a complete switch was a pain in the ass and was willing to accept keeping assets in place if it meant I would get SJ. I'm not Frank, after all ...

Even the new replacement GM Foolama (Chad) would of prefered Tony get the sharks.
