2022 Draft Discussion
Re: 2022 Draft Discussion
well you're clearly still more involved than half of the league despite your lack of time and yet decided to step down... not commendable at all!

you may have spoken too soon about thatBruyns wroteCOLONIt's commendable that you keep assuring us rather than just stepping down. And for that I feel badly. Did not anticipate life getting so busy when I joined the league. I started a Masters program in January and have two young boys at home - that takes up 99.9% of my time currently. Things will settle, I assure you.
Will get my pick in and look at the offers that have been sent to me recently. Again, my apologies.

He has 15 min, I'm sure he has a bunch of GMs trying to trade their players for the pick.

He just PM'd me saying he's making the pick so he's around.
Re: 2022 Draft Discussion
For me, the decision to leave could have waited until the beginning of the regular season as the league is slow and not much to do. I am going back to work on-site on June 15th in my full new capacities, which is when it will start getting crazy... I thought it best to leave the new guy/gal a full off-season to work his team instead of just jumping into a team come October. I'll still be around for Booboo (really!) to consult as needed on trades.kyuss wroteCOLONwell you're clearly still more involved than half of the league despite your lack of time and yet decided to step down... not commendable at all!

Re: 2022 Draft Discussion
Hope I got that in on time
Re: 2022 Draft Discussion
Ya being late just meant other GMs could start picking, you could still make your selection late.Welchie5 wroteCOLONHope I got that in on time
Made my decision a little easier, was 50/50 on Ohgren or Bichsel.

Re: 2022 Draft Discussion
I don't think there's a magic formula as to how much time you need to spend here or on the league in general. If you're on here everyday...don't be critical of someone who's not. We all don't have the same amount of free time.
I don't think we'll ever have 32 GMs who will be active everyday. I think you just want people who have fun and handle their business and aren't impossible to get a hold of if you want to offer them a trade.
I'm super-active here but I'm not as active in other leagues I'm in. There's not enough time in my day to do all this stuff...just need to find a balance. There's a fine line between something being a hobby and when it becomes a chore.

Booboo is a username i always use, so it's easy to remember. Basically a play on my last name and originally given to me by an old friend who passed as a teen. My way of remembering him I guess.Da_Hawks wroteCOLONFor me, the decision to leave could have waited until the beginning of the regular season as the league is slow and not much to do.
