News: (01/08/14) Logan Couture (hand) has been placed on injured reserve.Analysis: With the forward confirmed to miss the next three-to-four weeks after successful hand surgery earlier Wednesday, the Sharks will stash him on IR to open up a spot for another skater. Check back on Logan Couture near the end of the month or early in February, as he should be close to returning to action by that time.


Zac Rinaldo --> IR

News: (01/10/14) Zac Rinaldo (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Friday morning, CSN Philly's Sarah Baicker reports.Analysis: With Zac Rinaldo set to miss the next six weeks, the Flyers moved him to IR to open up a spot for Tye McGinn, who was recalled from AHL Adirondack in a corresponding move. Look for Rinaldo to make his return to the ice in late February or early March.
