Vrbata isnt bad, 5mil to play with the sisters, he'll do well there, and it's only 2 seasons, so the length isn't bad.

Niskanen will be fine with the caps, we all knew he'd get around 6mil. That said, if he doesn't pan out they have him for seven years.

No mention of Pouliot's deal?

Except with adding Miller, Markstrom is SOL. He has to clear waivers to be sent down.

ya, only about 3.5mil overpaid, sadly i'm being serious.

with all that said, playoff experience, big guy, quick -> he helps the Oilers out.


Their PK will have to improve with him taking so many offensive zone penalties though.
