Nick wroteCOLONBig Kulemin fan, I think the Islanders have filled a huge hole in their lineup by signing grabo & kules - add the speed of Grabner and that will be a tough line to play against.
i hope that line plays against the JVR - Bozak - Kessel line

they will each finish the night with 4 points and a +4 rating.

David Legwand signs with the Sens

2 years, 6mil (i'd assume 3mil AAV, and not 6mil AAV)

So Clayton Stoner got more money than Legwand, LOL.

I still can't believe that contract by the Ducks.

Cheaper than I expected for Legwand.

Gibbons signs a 2 way deal with the Jackets

worst contract is either dave bolland or orpik, wow, those are awful

orpik can't skate anymore and reminds me of daren hatcher,,,remember when the game was too fast for him? ya, that's orpik.

Bolland for me. How you pay a 3rd line center who is constantly hurt 5.5M long term is beyond me

Good point. Hed be a close second on my list. He can atleast play when not injured though. Orpik is just a bum now lol

i'm going to go with Bolland as well, but just by a slight margain over Orpik.

The difference is, Orpik should stay healthy for 78+ games a year, whereas, you never know what you'll get from bolland. Sportsnet did a thing on him the other day and talked about his back and how those tend to get worse with age, esp the type of game he plays. in 2.5 years (or less) this will be seen as one of the worst contracts in the NHL. Almost 6mil or cap space for a shitty player who cant skate.

If i were a GM i'd never sign a guy who was slow, and if i did it would be on a 1 year contract. The pace of the NHL is incredible now, guys need to move their feet to be successful.

Yep, free agency has become a silly time for GMs.

the others to be the worst contracts need those players to be injured (which is entirely possible of course), the Stoner's one is abysmal with Stoner at 100% of capabilities lol
