Hong, you are going to witness a different Bruins team tonight. The Sedins(not sure which one) guaranteeing wins is just bad karma. All the off ice shit pulled by the Canucks is going to come bite them in the ass.

mr. bruin wroteCOLONKaberle has been surprisingly strong in the cup finals, I will give him that. He has been more active. Saying that, he probably will not be back in Boston. Now I followed the Oilers run then the Flames run and it was fun and all but lets see if we can have a third Canadian team lose in 7 just so the B's can do this tonight. The odds are definitely against them when you consider home ice advantage in Game 7's of years past. I'm hoping they can do what the Pens did. Maybe there will be a surprise showing from Horton???? He traveled with the team and is apparently begging to play. I want to see Thomas go fucking ninja voodoo style and close the door TIGHT. NO GOALS. Thomas with 1st star, Recchi 2nd and Ryder 3rd. I feel good about this. "I got a feeling"
Schenn is giving the edge to the Bruins.

Would you even want kaberle to re-sign with you guys? For a "PP specialist" the Bruins PP sure did take a nose dive once he joined the team, they also IIRC had the worst power play of any team to ever make it to the finals? I can see him coming back to Toronto signing a contract that ends his career with us. I hope to god this does not happen though.
No surprise that Horton is begging to play. How many times do players get the opportunity to play in a game 7 of the stanley cup finals? Not too often...With how bad his concussion was being made out to be, there is no way he has recovered fast enough. Unless of course he is superman?

No, you have just witnessed the changing of Momentum and are about to be treated to the single best game, playoff and season ever performed by a goalie. Warm your set up buddy, cause even you are going to be shocked.

shooker wroteCOLONKesler is super hurt. There is nothing other than that going into his lack of production...the man can't skate lol
First off, everyone is hurt, well aside from Seguin & Cody...but -> pulled groins and light muscle tears are common place - dislocated shoulders, abdominal tears, brokens wrists/ribs, fractured bones in their feet, hands ankles & shins are likely double digits on both teams. Hell the bruins were on IV's at one point during these playoffs...Injuries, refing, and boucnes are the excuses for the losers -> which is weird that there is already so much complaining about this beforehand. Neither team has lost yet.
Anyways onto Kesler in specific->
As a huge hockey fan and someone who watched a ton of games I felt like the total # really didn't add up, have said so consistently throughout the year -> hype didn't match the player I was watching so after waking up at 6am I looked into this:
During the regular season he was over PPG against one division, his own. Kesler had 33 goals and 47 points in 45 GP & +28 versus non-playoff teams. Against playoff teams just 8 goals, 26 points -4 in 37 GP.
Was he hurt versus the Hawks? 0 goals, actually 0 goals in his first 9 playoff games when he was definitely healthy. Yes he played well, but we're talking about goals and why they are missing. He has 4pts (2 goals) combined between the San Jose and Boston Series (11 gp)...
Awesome verus Nashville once he got going though->no doubt!!! absolutely destroyed that matchup -> 11pts of his 19 points (5g of 7) in just 4 games. Which means he has 2 goals in the remaining 19 playoff games. Leading me to say the following: we've just witnessed one of the most insanely over-stated performances IMO.
Now add that up with the a large portion of his goals and points coming off the PP (roughly 50% of each, in both regular season and playoffs), and the Bruins having an amazing penalty kill, and you can begin to see why the Kesler (who is the 1b/secondary scoring for the Canucks) is having scoring trouble verus the Boys from Beantown.
Now -> want to talk about a player who's impact couldn't be less under-stated?
David "playoff-consistent" KREJCI, since the MTL series (where he admittedly needed his team to produce, as he didn't...well... he did score more then Kesler did versus the Hawks, but, my points stands) David has points in all but 4 games, totalling 11 goals, 11assists in the past 17 games.
Regardless of all the BS, both teams had amazing years, it'll come down to 1 game -> the best team of 2010-2011 will be crowned.
And yes Kareem, I do believe the Canes were better then the Sens, they won a 7 game series...despite the names and all the subjective opinions nothing speaks the truth like a playoff series.

A 7 game series against the Oilers without their starting goalie...They weren't even supposed to beat the Sabres, but they lost: Lydman, Tallinder, Hecht, Roy and one other player I can't recall off the top of my head in the last two games. I couldn't disagree more.

If anybody other than Tim Thomas wins the Conn Smythe at this point, it'd be pretty bad. Win or lose, he's been the best player in the playoffs, even though he had a couple poor round 3 performances.
