Are you the guy in 3rd? Lol I have far far more games in hand than everyone, I think. Try to keep this interesting though. It's getting boring.

I don't think it's this. I think especially in hockey where there are so many good players on so many teams, picking the winning combo is very difficult. Yesterday out of the 1000+ people in the breakaway, I finished 45th and it was my highest finish.

I always win the double ups, which tells me I'm above the 50th percentile lol. But winning the Breakaways require someone to be in the 90-95th percentile to get in the money. That is not easy and requires a LOT of luck. You can have Crosby/Stamkos/Ovechkin on your team, but the remaining pieces are so random on every night that it's so hard to predict.

I think overall I'm up like $5 on my invested $10 lol. Not going to ever make a lot on this. I might get lucky one night and finish #1 on the breakaway and win $200 but other than that, it is going to be a grind to build up the bank roll.

I agree, I think you are disciplined enough to stay on 50/50s, you can make a good amount of money

i get like that too but then the realist in me takes control.

i've only ever made money off 50/50s so far and even when i do im between 18-25 of 50 teams. there aint no way in fuckin hell im finishing top 10% of a 1000 person league or whatever it is.

I've cashed in tournies (most was $40 in a $2 one), but its mostly just draining my account.

However, I am at like 70-80% in the double ups. I should do that more, but it's such a grind.

I do the double ups/triple ups not the 50/50s.

I hate that FanDual takes 10%.. that's an insane rake.

And instead of getting $9 in a 50/50, you get $10 but have to come Top 50 of 112, so it's 45/55 instead of 50/50.

Had a pretty good night:

1st out of 50 in the $1 50/50 (wish this was worth more)
48 out of 1117 in the $1 Breakaway
11 out of 112 in the $5 Double Up

Put in $7, came out with $16.80. BIG MONEY!
