I'm sorry but watching the Leafs implode......again...is just so entertaining from the outside. I feel genuinely ill for dedicated Leaf fans but my fuck this has got to be hard. Looks like firing Burke was a mistake. Phaneuf should not be a captain on any team. He has no leadership skills. I dont even care what he does on the ice. No matter what you think of certain players, the talent level across the NHL is so similar (everyone is in the top 10th percentile of hockey players basically) I have a hard time believing an historically bad defence isn't largely system-driven. See ya Carlyle.
