As much as Dion carries the defense I simply don't think he's a true #1 D-man. He's really not close to the offensive player he used to be. We need to add another top pairing guy that can log high minutes as well.

i wonder if Nonis will target any big named UFA dman this summer.

Orpik and Matt Greene would top my target/wish list.

Matt niskanen would also be a good target, could replace franshit.

I may be alone on this but I think we should move Gardiner. I like him but he is an offensive guy like Rielly and Rielly is younger + has much more room for improvement IMO. Would be interesting to see if we can package him for a guy and then sign another.

the list isn't super great, but there are some quality guys on it.

Franson can't be back next year (if nonis has any kind of hockey knowlegdge anyways). He can be replaced by Gardiner and Rielly.
