What about your assessment is less biased than mine? Unless you think I made that post because I own Crosby.

Most people like Nick = Most people share a similar viewpoint to Nick's. What is that viewpoint?

Ovechkin = coaster
Crosby = not

Same clip of both players, yet the reactions on the forum prove that one player is viewed in a far more favourable way.

That being said, Crosby is the better player no doubt. But I'm a big believer in carving up all players for the same mistakes.

Best players in the NHL (in order) according to this years stats/style:

1) Crosby
2) Kessel
3) Getz
4) Perry
5) Ovy (his -6714 hurts his overall player ranking)

Having been that forward in both cases, IMO there is a difference.

On Ovy's it's a feel of '"F*&K - that's my bad"

I do not believe a 3-2 in zone, is the same as a 1:1 + backside "pressure" (or lack of). Gotta trust your teammates to get their man.

I would expect that most guys here have been in the position that is shown by Sid & Ovy in these examples.

I know when it's me late/slow/lazy coming back into the zone to help the dmen out, and there is an open guy in the slot, I feel totally responsible. hence, " F&*K that's my bad"

I've also been the skater who is a step or two behind a 1 on 1, and witnessed my dman get burned. Noting that I didn't have my head down, legs pumping trying to get back, and was instead looking for the next guy slow/lazy - It's not the same feeling/voice in my head.

the game's excitements are all on the scoring.. ovy does that..
well.. he floats around creating more scoring to the opponent made the game even more interesting.. sorry ovy
