Yah they were really good. You guys sure have some great young talent over there in Detroit. Nyquist, Jurco, Sheahan, Tatar to name a few already playing up in the NHL. Thats not even including, Mzrak (sp?), Sproul, Marchenko, Almqvist (sp?) oullet, pulkinnen, Mantha and company

You think Jurco has played his way onto the team fulltime yet? It would be a shame to see that kid not get a regular spot going forward especially after showing how well he can handle the NHL game. Quite truthfully I would be stunned if that kid line isn't your 3rd line next season.

If they survive this year and keep the streak alive, I don't see them missing the playoffs again next year and beyond based on the young talent and the fact some dead weight will be off the books next year. They might not be back to being the team of 5 years ago where they were THE team to beat but they could contend if Hank and Pavel stay healthy.

taking it a little out of context (IMO) shiv, other threads with guys getting called out for saying it sucks dats is hurt, or excessive leaf homer-ism being endorsed can understandably cause of a response and conversation like the above... past feuds causally mentioned throughout.

I think all 3 of you, CAM, Shiv & Lee, have shown a great willingness to shoot the shit and have friendly *sometimes heated* banter --- Most of the league has, and IMO is why so many of us have been here for so long.


The hockey discussion can be really really good, the league is simply amazing, the depth unmatched and the devotion required given willingly. When the league is happy there are so many active threads, talks and of course chirping.

I think us Leaf fans are a little stressed right now - but the fans of others teams are as well --> we've been easy targets for years, and that's changing
