I've never cheered against the leafs, nor have I ever wanted BBKl success over the leafs success - don't know why you're suggesting otherwise.


I believe the leafs can make the playoffs regardless of how good Detroit does, didn't think i needed to preface my displeasure of datsyuk being injured with saying I want the leafs to win.

Glad Moulson went to Minny. No idea why, but I've got a soft spot for them. Always seem to cheer for them in the West.

I wasn't claiming it was logical, just a gut feeling that only one of the two will be in the top 8.

Hopefully losing St. Louis will hurt TB's chances and Detroit will struggle without there 2 best players.

I think the league (and Tampa) are about to realize they underestimated MSL's value to that team. St. Louis manufactures offensive opportunities for his team as a whole at a greater rate than any player on TBL including Stamkos. Callahan is great but he is not in the same league in that department. I'm ecstatic as a Leaf fan. I think we will catch one of TBL or MTL for sure.

Stat that I find a little funny/sad... Ranger now has more points than Clarkson in fewer games.

And yet people will continue to pile shit on Ranger and praise on Clarkson.

He'd be an asset already traded for a considerable return if he played for another team. Some people just have a hate for him because he has a Leaf on his sweater and makes a mistake here and there.

This is the same fan base that drove Larry Murphy and Bryan McCabe, among others, out of town.

I think ehrhoff would have looked good as a Leaf, dont you? It was of course a selfish wish and likely not realistic because of his recapture penalty buffalo faces if he retires early, but damn, he would have looked good! Ehrhoffs contract is amazing too, 4 mill per year? Yes please!

and to defend Lee, i dont think Ranger has been that bad as of late. He's certainly been better than Franson (whom i've defended on and off) but his play speaks for itself, he's been bad lately.

Sort of wish we traded him for MDZ when it was offered (source was bob mckenzie on that rumour)
