It days his injury on the inuury report im juston my phone and dont wanns goncheck again.

I dont think its a broken or chipped elbow tho id.

As for his play. Im of the opinion its been fine. Its not his ault he gets no pp time and plays with offensively inept players. Hes fine

Can't know without more info, ..could be a chip like Steve said, or just a bad bruise, ...tendonitis perhaps as well (Golfer's/Tennis). Maybe he'll get an intra-articular steroid injection if that's the case. I"m just spit balling .

Ha, was just thinking that as I was making food.

It can be a 'throw-away' diagnosis at times, but the sports dr's here should be bang on. It's inflammation of a fluid filled sac that essentially lubes a joint. He's thus irritated that, it's bugging him so much that he needs a week off to just let it settle down. He would have tried the normal ice, resting it a bti more than usual and NSAIDS (Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory)[Advil is one of these classes of drugs).

It too can be injected with a steroid that will reduce inflammation. I'd put some good money on it that he has had that done + rest for a week. Don't worry, with rest and proper therapy he'll be back.

Some people are genetically going to be more pre-disposed to that via biomechanical imbalances. I wouldn't worry about it.

That Clarkson contract looks terrible right now, but when the cap rises and he gets a real coach his value will shine through. This year is a bad time to judge for him, imo.

I mean, not giving him PP time where he made his mark is a crime. Give the guy a confidence boost and break the slump.

Exactly. Put him on the PP and put him in front of the net.

+1.

Part of the problem though is JVR has the crease on the first PP. So while Clarkson was seeing PP1 time in NJD, he will see PP2 time here...if Carlyle even decides to properly use him there consistently.
