Where's that in the rules? Curious that I missed it.

Sorry, it's noon eastern time. I don't know where it says it in the rules, but it's how it is done here. It should probably be added if it isn't anywhere in the cba. One 24 hour period starting from the next 12pm eastern time. Since this was at 233pm eastern he will be available tomorrow.

Yeah it's not written in this thread nor the CBA, but we've been operating that way. Might want to throw a statement in somewhere that specifies when players are actually on waivers.

Noon to noon is still the window I operate by. Sustr would go on waivers at noon (Eastern) on the 17th (later today).
For example, Chris Butler was put on waivers Tuesday night but he wouldn't be available to be claimed until Wednesday at noon.

I have added it in to the CBA as follows:
Waived player is available for 24 hours, beginning 12 noon ET the same day if put on waivers between midnight and noon, or the following the day if put on waivers between noon and midnight.
correct?

I've gone by the idea that if you waived someone now before noon, they'll go on waivers today at noon.
Basically, any time you waive someone, they'll go on waivers the next time noon rolls around. If you waive them 12:30 p.m. or 4:00 a.m., they'll go on waivers the next day at noon.

Updated Waiver Rules
Waived player is available for 24 hours, beginning 12 noon ET the same day if put on waivers between midnight and noon, or the following the day if put on waivers between noon and midnight.
GM making a waiver claim MUST POST his total number of NHL contracts in the post, or the claim will be declared invalid

Doesn't his contract still count for this season? Just want him off my books and thought this was how to do it.
