I love Shiv's passion for BBKL.

Yeah its interesting how active and passionate this can get for some but..

BBKL is probably as good of an outlet for applying our love of/knowledge for hockey that any of us will ever have,
so it makes sense.

BTW, did you guys see how Ehrhoff's goal went in? Through the hole in Gunnarsson's skate?

Ya, oiler fans are flipping out...I'm a big nurse fan, turned down lots of good offers on him.

I read some guys who were left off: Domi, Nurse were the 2 bigger names that stuck out.

i dont think Jake is the problem - i think Randy's system was short lived here.

Should never have been hired. I had hoped for Beadreau ...but they hung onto wilson a bit too long for that. Would have been a freakin PERFECT match.

On the flip side though, it's going to be a lot of fun to see Reinhart and Mcdavid both on the team (assuming theyve made it)

i wonder when Nonis will clue in and fire Randy?

do you think it happens this year? I actually dont think Nonis ever really liked the hiring. Any time you have a coach who gets run out by his stars (see Getz, Ryan, lupul and Perry in Ana.) it's never a good idea to bring him onto a team with young players.

heck, Randy even needed to do damage control when he started here - with Lupul.

I don't think Nonis will fire Randy until it's really far in (when Nonis thinks his job is at risk). I truly do not like what Nonis has done for the most part. I had actually thought he wasn't in the dogma that he appears to profess. Burke for all his bluster, and blatantly ridiculous hard rules about certain issues (contracts and CBA "loopholes"), made a few great trades with insight (JVR first and foremost).

Still... fuck Cliff Fletcher.

lol, Oilers fans were also flipping out last season when someone was so brave (and knowledgeable) to tell them Brodin was clearly ahead of Klefbom..

Lol klefbom was injured all last season

amazing how he still managed to play like 15 games!

but seriously, it was 2 seasons ago now that i think about it... as it was obviously before Brodin entered the NHL. The argument was over after that (-> last season was already put to silence).

btw, looking at that signature, it seems Sharp got depressed for being traded to Carolina
