always liked colborne. Glad to see he's doing a tad better in CGY.

Slow going still with limited time-on-ice, but in just 10minutes he had 3 hits, 3fow, +2 (on for both of CGY's goals) and a beauty of a move himself on a breakaway. Especially as a center with size I believe he'll have a good long look in CGY.

What I saw in our pre-season was him trying to fit in as a 4th line grinder, running at guys and dumping the puck in. Although I think at his best he'll be very physical, I also know he's a smart player who needs to slow the game down, use his size to protect the puck, and make plays.

With Visnovsky's concussion the Islanders sign Radek Martinek to a 1-year deal. Now everyone mob Pete for the extra dman!

I was pleased to see Colborne pick up a tally...the Flames haven't half bad this year.
