Yeah that's what it seems to be, supposedly ottawas over budget and needs to make a move with smith/kassian before they can keep zibby up. I'll be surprised if he misses more than a game or two, if that.

Not true, appraently Murray told Zibby that he essentially let 2 guys come into camp and take his spot. Apparently had a horrible camp.

Something like that after looking into it a bit more.
There was a top 6 spot and a third line spot available
Conacher and Pageau worked their asses off to get each respectively, guess zibby thought he already had a spot on the team.
Strange though, considering Zibby was the sens best player for the second half of last season. Not really worried for zibby in the long run as an owner, should be back in the sens lineup asap.
Seems like a similar treatment to what's been done to Max Pac, and EK before, hoping to spark a fire under him with the demotion.

He was probably the leafs best dman at camp, but was a casuality of Randy not liking puck movers and he was sadly sent down.

As much as I dislike the un-rounded and sissy aspect of kessel's game, much like the sister's in Vancouver it's undeniable what their scoring ability it worth in the league.

The Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL are located in Wheeling, West Virginia. 1 hour drive vs a 4.5 hour drive to Wilkes-Barre. Mystery solved. Good job, Billy.
