I will basically state what I said in the CC. I am with most of you and could care less on this. I feel Nick has some very valid ideas and opinions in relation to the pick and I also feel Frank is lucky to still be in the league based on his actions.

Remember when the league had its last period? You know when the whole thing nearly fell apart? Well Matt, Mike and Scott came together and and made a plan. They will deal with the issues and if one needs to be discussed it would be presented to the CC. In this case, they did that and decided that the rule was very clear and there was no need for CC discussion or voting. That is the system that was put in place last time to avoid such conflict. While I agree that our CBA has some loose terminology and needs some touching up, I feel the same as Shep on this matter. One person may interpret a rule slightly different than what the admin team may have, in relation to the writings in CBA. So be it.

I implore each and every one of you to find loopholes or unclear statements or rules in the CBA and post them so we can clear it up and fix anything you might find wrong for future reference. Instead of taking advantage of loopholes or rules that are obvious but not written, why not understand that we are still only in our 2nd year as a young league and not everything is perfect?? Contribute to finding and fixing our shortcomings and express your opinion with that understanding? Sometimes we are becoming way to subjective in how we are using our rule and fine system when it should never be. I think it may have been Nick or maybe even Shiv(can't remember) that has proposed a system for teams that have warnings or strikes against them. If they have a prolonged period of excellent GM skills or if they find loopholes in CBA and notify admin etc..that they can have a warning revoked. I found that interesting and kinda liked it.

It is very obvious that Frank loves this league and wants to stay and has a lot of support. I think he is an excellent guy for the league and Dallas. I also think he broke too many rules and is paying the price according to our rules.

great.. i was waiting for Kyles post.. i think all ppl think the fine is very harsh.. but im sure with Franks' skill (and i think he's already the top candidate for GM of the year..).. he will definitely turn this team around even without the 1st... not saying that i like the punishment or it is fair IMO.. but hopefully this incident will make the league grow and im sure Frank benefits from this (not likely to commit further mistake..)

damn and i was to suggest frank to step down, 1st returned to dallas, he goes on to change his name to frankie and his msn as well, one of his supporter goes on to recommend him back...

HAHA Honger. If you ever start your own country i would love to be under your leadership.

Everyone has there own opinions on the rules/handlings/fines etc. When i express my opinion i try to consider everyone and everything including the admins mandate, the CC mandate, the CBA, the GM's, precedent, etc. I still have an opinion but when one mandate over-rules another, like in this scenario, I like to let the rules speak for themselves. I want subjectivity gone from this league and it will be a little bumpy getting there but it will come. That is why I asked that any GM that finds a problem in our system or rules or CBA, to help the league out as a whole and bring it up as well as recommend a fix. Mik has done this himself on a few occasions and he should be commended for that!
