Would be stupid if a few of these teams managed to win it, but definitely a bit weird no matter what given there aren't many truly terrible teams here. Most cases Lafreniere is stepping into okay situations.

Anyone got any interesting 2020 HOT TAKES?

I like stutzle but don't think he will go top 3 in the NHL draft. I think he will be quite a good hockey player, but more like a very good David Booth. Probably get 70-80 points a couple times in his career, unless on a line with a much better player. But he won't be a superstar or anything.

If you're Ottawa with picks 3 and 5, you probably should take Stutzle 3 if you really want him because don't rule out the Wings grabbing him at 4 since they aren't afraid to "buy German".

If Stutzle goes 3 (assuming Byfield goes to the Kings), I think it'll come down to Drysdale, Perfetti or Rossi for the Wings.
