If you look at exclusives, which is the only way to judge two systems IMO, the PS3 blows the xbox out of the water.

Halo has a huge following but is garbage beyond the first one.

Uncharted, god of war, killzone, little big planet, mlb the show, demon souls, MaG (256 player multiplayer), metal gear solid, inFamous, resistance, grand turismo.

Both are great systems. Xbox had the advantage early and IMO the ps3 has taken over the last couple of years.

The only games that warrant mentioning are: Unchartered, GT, God of War and Kill Zone. Metal Gear isn't a true exclusive, they have been releasing copies for release on Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles for a few years now. The rest are just good, nothing special.

I've played every Half Life game so it isn't an age thing, but Half Life is a computer game (even though it was released later on consoles). I'm referring specifically to console FPS', but even if I didn't it's not close...The sales, critical acclaim and fan fare Halo accrued during its time was unprecedented. There will never be another like it as far as I'm concerned.

I never got into it. Had a couple buddies that played religiously though.

Small community, but I was obsessively addicted to Quake 2 Digital Paintball (followed by the standalone DP 2.0)
