Many speculate it'll go down 5+ mil because of CBA discussions and the lack of one going into next season at the moment. Especially when it sounds like the NHL won't budge on lowering players take of 58% (or whatever) down to 50% on revenue.

Glad Grabo re-signed. The cap hit sucks but it's better then losing him to free agency. Perfect 2nd line C. Hopefully we can lure Getzlaf in when he's a ufa, if he gets there of course.

Meh, if it does they will give teams some sort of amnesty clause like the NBA. The deal is about a half million too much, it's worth it to retain a player like Grabovski.
