To FLA: Eric Tangradi
To TBL: Gilbert Brule
FLA/TBL
Re: FLA/TBL
Breakdown:
Neither the stud they were once projected to become, ceiling on Brule is lower then that on Tangradi, but going into the playoffs TBL loses some potential in return for current contribution. I actually still like them both and believe the PF type player almost always takes longer to develop then all other NHL genre of players. Tangradi could become Malone/Clowe at his high end, Brule much more of the Kesler mould, although I expect him to be pushed to a full time winger, and then the dream ultra high end comparison in Callahan. At this stage either reaching that level of play is unlikely.
Personally I didn't want to pay Tangradi for Brule, however the allure of Boedker and Brule ending up on the 2nd/3rd line together and finding chemistry made me do it.

Re: FLA/TBL
