Mckenzie said there's a chance that Savard is traded to Toronto in a trade not involving Kaberle...

because we dont need fucking vet centers.

we need young guys who can grow with this team, not retire with another cooke like hit.

Seriously. Why would boston trade him over the other C's? do they have injury concerns regarding him and his concussions? Thats the only reason I could see them trading him seeing as he is there most talented forward.

The leafs will regret trading kulemin, book it..........he is going to be a fucking force in this league.

Burke wouldn't trade Schenn, Kadri, Bozak, Phaneuf, Kessel, for Savard.

1 step forward, 2 steps back. IMO.

I think they are safe as well... notably because they were at the naming of the captain, clearly MAJOR pieces moving forward.

Sign Kovulchuk and I will be happy.

Frolov I would be happy.

I was happy with the gus signing last summer.

Kessel trade is a fucking joke. (outweighs everything else ... pisses me off to no end)

phaneuf trade was awesome, same with getting rid of Toskala and blake.

Love losing that loser poni and picking up caputi.

Green trade today was nice.

As upset as I am about not picking Kabanov, I trust steve when he says Ross is a good pick. So I was happy overall with todays drafting.

im just fucking sick and tired seeing the fucking leafs trade away young talent for fucking veteran players who are nearing the tail end of their careers. Sure savard may have like 4 good years left but sorry, one more cooke hit and he might have to retire and then what? We are fucked.

Whats so hard to grasp about that? Fuck bringing in savard and fuck bringing in any other veteran forward that is going to cost us lots of our young talent. Which we dont even fucking have that much of in the first place.

Anyone could have their careers ended with a Cooke like hit...Pretty stupid argument. The fact of the matter is that Savard is still an elite centerman with 4/5 more good years, as you yourself alluded to above. That is not the same as dealing Brad Boyes for Owen Nolan, and I'm getting sick and tired of your implication that it is, or that all leafs trades follow some sort of pattern, I.E. old vets for young stars...Since Burke has came on board all we've done is add good young stars; Phaneuf, Kessel, Bozak, Kadri, and today Ross and Mckegg.

sure, anyone could have their career ended with that kind of hit. But savard is going to be SO MUCH MORE PRONE now that he has been fucked up a few times. Don't act like I am the only one who fucking feels this way either.

Answer me this, why would boston make savard available over Krecji or Bergeron? The only reason I can think of is that they have concerns regarding his health.

If the decision were based on health, than it would be Bergeron being shopped, not Savard, he has a much worse injury history than Savard. But to answer your question, there are several reasons that Bruins would look to move Savard first, he is the most expensive of the big three, will garner the most in a trade, and is the oldest of the big four (Seguin, Bergeron, Krejci, Savard).

Like I said several posts above, your an idiot if you think Savard is being moved purely because of health concerns.

Especially if we get him without including Kaberle in the deal...wow
