TRADE: #Flyers have acquired (D) Nicklas Grossman from Dallas in exchange for a 2012 2nd rd pick(from LA) & 2013 3rd rd pick(from MIN).

Ehhh, I don't know Mike. Grossman's value as a defensive defenseman lies in his ability to block shots, kill penalties, hurt a guy; no 2nd + 3rd material IMO. At least this bodes well for Nemeth, who should make the jump next season.

Who knows. Leafs nation is pretty divided on Schenn.

Great pickup for the Flyers and solid return for Dallas. Grossman needed a change of scenery as he's not quite lived up to his billing. I think Grossman could really benefit playing on such a highly skilled, young team like Philly.

I agree with that Scott, Grossman is having a down year from what I gather, and playing on a team like Philly can only do good things for his further development imo.

NHL definitely has relocation expenses covered. Union that strong isn't leaving the players to tackle that on their own.
