The Leafs are widely rumored to be on Rick Nash's short list, and Brian Burke is known to covet a big forward with skill, that alone puts us in the running for Rick Nash, you would have to be a complete idiot not to see the connection. As for your second question, the Leafs acquired the biggest piece on the market in Dion Phaneuf, and last season acquired Joffrey Lupul who is currently in the top 10 in scoring. This isn't Montreal, players actually want to play in Toronto...
