Lubomir Visnovsky
Lubomir Visnovsky
Made his return today, 7 SOG, 1 assist + periphs TBD.
Rebuilding, but need similar cap back. Can be Gomez/Redden for all I care.

Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
My offer is awesome
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
You mean your non existent one?
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
Yea, tell everyone that he's available, take an offer, and not bother countering. Smart. Always good for business.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
You made an offer that I didn't like and I got busy doing other things. Life happens.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
It's not exclusive to one instance, Lee. It's a frequent thing with you. It's frustrating and you're one of the few people I rarely bother dealing with because of it.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
Try making better offers that might pique my interest then? Marincin was the only decent asset you made in your offer.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
I made an offer. The impetus is on you to set a price on your players if an offer isn't to your liking.Kezia wroteCOLONTry making better offers that might pique my interest then? Marincin was the only decent asset you made in your offer.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
If you want to see it that way, sure. I saw it as you not willing to make a serious offer and me not wanting to waste both of our times listening to offers that were pretty far off.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
Well, to me, it was a fair offer, given that you didn't care if a Redden, Gomez was offered (I'm assuming for cap compliance). There was no disrespect intended in my offer; it was a starting point for what I felt was a fair offer, but it's hard to gauge the value of a 36 year old declining defenseman when what you gave up for him was pretty much nil (something I'm sure many here agree with) and there's no information coming from you as to your expectations.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
Nil? Barrie, Nemisz, Volchenkov and Winchester is nil?
Don't really have any expectations for an offer, I'm an open book when it comes to that. I just told you that your offer want not a page in that book.
Hardly call him declining, he had 68 points last year, expecting him to hit that again would be your own foolishness. 35-40 is more of an obtainable goal given his past history.

Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
Volchenkov is pretty lame. Always injured. Same reason why Tim Connolly's value never seems to be commensurate with his skill level. Barrie and Nemisz are nice, though both are hardly impact prospects (in my opinion of course). And Winchester is pretty much just filler for the sake of filling. I believe you got back a few other assets as well.Kezia wroteCOLONNil? Barrie, Nemisz, Volchenkov and Winchester is nil?

Point is, there were questionable assets going in Scott's direction, and I think it's fair to consider my offer as not far from what you've requested, seeing you're rebuilding and need cap. That's all.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
Feel free to post your offer and get an opinion from the peanut gallery.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
Forget what the third piece was, but it was Finger, Marincin, and probably Salak. Two high impact prospects -- better than Barrie & Nemisz -- and a useless defenseman for your cap. Also noteworthy: Lubo IS declining whether you agree with it or not.

Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
It was Goloubef.
Re: Lubomir Visnovsky
My bad. Goloubef. Still don't see the issue since Goloubef > Barrie, Marincin > Nemisz (who I actually own now).
