Requirement:
- MUST be playing WING or CENTER
- PREFERABLY under the age of 26, as I'm willing to sell off some older compete-worthy pieces. Let's deal accordingly.
- Willing to take picks if I like it
- NO D'S PLEASE. Unless of course, you want a fair 1 for 1 swap that I really like. But again, this block is to acquire forwards mostly.
FWDs:
Olli Jokinen- Need I say more?... he's proving himself to be the next contending team's dream piece... don't believe me? just take a look at his recent productions on both PP AND PK... He's got a new role, and it's not pretty. He's going PP and PK while scoring and winning faceoffs... Be the judge. Don't come to me with "he's still shit, just on a hot streak".
D-men:
Randy Jones - Just coming off a foot injury... should be back in the lineup shortly within the week. Solid periph D-man
Tomas Kaberle - Recently acquired... JUST traded to Montreal for Spacek...interested in his PP opportunity? I'm hoping he picks up in the 2nd half.
Jim Vandermeer - Solid periph D... playing with Brent Burns as a pairing majority of the time as of late
Ed Jovanovski "A" - Solid periph D... slowed down due to aging process for sure, but let me know if you wanna use his services
Kris Russell - Playing real well since joining the Blues... he's naturally a goal-scoring, puck moving D-man with real offensive upside (Kaberle-lite methinks but less NHL experience), but haven't really been able to open up his skills for CBJ. Not going to say he'll be a superstar, but he's someone I value personally for the same interest Ken Hitchcock has in him that landed him on his team for Nikitin.
Cam Barker - Due back in about 2 months... If you know what he's about, inquire within. I still believe he has potential left to be a VERY good H2H d-man
Matt Walker - Meh... past his prime
Evan Oberg - Very recent call-up for the Bollts via a trade with the Panthers... been lingering in the minors last year. Young, but slow-developing prospect, but if you want GP or whatnot I might make it work... all that salary he's getting paid must mean they saw potential in him eh?!?!
