Just number checking tonight... a team assembled with very obtainable assets could easily win the BBKL:

Winnik- Hanzal-Vrbata
Korpikoski-Gaustad*A*-Dwyer
Gordon-Malhorta-R.Jones
Moen-Steckle-A.Hall

Beaucheim *C*- Philips*A*
Smid-Greene
Polak-Obyrne

Any good goalie, but let's say Brian Elliott.

Teams lacking valuable assets *SHOULD* consider contending through careful planning. FOW/BS/HITS/SHTOI + the randoms GWG/+ and consistent GAA/SV%/W, odd SO... G/A/PTS/Stpts/SOG are tough to knowingly lose...but god damn.. BBKL value of categories and players that hit groups of categories should be used by someone, and not have-assed!!! Building through high-skilled youth is done (cue PITT currently, TBL and others before), value through stock piling draft selections done (Pitt, TOR), focus on scoring + 1 or 2 defensive cats on every play done (NJD, COL)... no one has truly committed to the value categories in straight up bulk. Would be neat to see, and a nightmare to face!

Ye I should have given Tony some credit, tough season for Ward and some injuries/lower then avg career # on D has slowed his impact.
