One of the core features of religion is to be respectful of everyone else and their beliefs. I have alot of the same values as Rocco, but I don't discriminate or treat anyone else differently because they disagree, likewise with Rocco, he was merely posting his opinion on his twitter account, not forcing anything down anyone's throat, if you don't like it, don't read it. For you to suggest otherwise is asinine.

The distinction is that Grimaldi is a public figure who can play a role in influencing others by what he preaches. I have always been a proponent of pluralism, but not when it comes to religion. There is no greater evil in the world than religion. It impacts and encompasses every corner of our lives -- the foundation of this country was gleaned from biblical text (i.e., ten commandments and so forth). North American morality is Christian centric. Western Medicine/Bioethics are Christian centric.

When you proselytize via a medium well-known for its ease of information flow, it's not exactly impossible to imagine that there's an exponential exposure to what you tweet within hours.
