Well you know best that this will very well end up, as a statistically inaccurate anomaly for my team. You just happen to be my opponent. I've been on the other side of that two weeks in a row to start the season. A few of my slumping players have woken up. Iginla, Getzlaf and Krejci.

A bounce here, a littlw luck, some bad luck, etc. Not that it matters that my guys are cold, as your guys are scorching hot a normal week would be a crushing as well. Need to hope for a complete reversal to end the week.

It is quite refreshing to see such a balanced league in such a short period. I dont think anyone can declare a BBKL favorite with 100% confidence. (although i give a 90% confidence on Steve ) Its not like it was with Scotts old teams. That was just silly and not even really worth trying in the first year especially..lol

Essentially all H2H leagues any team can win any week. Hot/Cold determines that.

Thanks to our # of categories and # of teams IMO we have a greater # of unknown match ups.

Although I had a bad feeling going into this week with Kyle - I didn't know he'd win. And I'm sure at least 10 other gm's could say that about their matchup.

I go into every single match the exact same regardless of the opponent. Shep summed it up. If they are roster players, hot/cold and NHL matchups, games played etc, can all align for just about anyone. We all have been on both sides of the equation. I guess the goal is to put forth the best team possible and try and minimize the opportunities for the hockey Gods to turn on you.

There is no parity in the league. The best teams keep setting the bar higher an higher at a quicker pace than the lower ranked teams could ever hope to attain or keep pace with.

I don't mind chasing the carrot though.

haha I like that gif shep. Perfect! But yes, it seems 95% of the GMs who were all Leaf fans thought they were taking over the Leafs. Not much keeper fantasy experience. Scott was a master and was able to pick any player in the league and make the best team possible and people were handing players over on platters. It was actually quite something.

Really not true (the second half of your statement). I didn't do well at all moving Leafs early on.

Pretty much gave away Grabo and Kulemin, we didn't yet have Phaneuf/Kessel, etc...
