They were saying something about Burke didn't say anything about Kovy coming to HIM. So perhaps Kovy has come to Toronto showing lots of interest...and this is burkes way of keeping this a little more low key?

Guys this guy is only staying in the NHL for a cup because he can get money anywhere so I dont mean to burst the bubble but I would have to say there is a less than 1% chance in him coming there.

That is an idiotic argument, think about what you say before you type FFS...For starters, most cup contenders don't have the cap space to add a superstar like Kovalchuk, two, the Leafs or teams like them are only one big piece away from bigger and better things (Kovy brings that), further negating your earlier point, and finally the post lockout era is cyclical, meaning that turnarounds happen frequently, teams that are good this year might not be next season, and vice versa. You are also completely ignoring the history, money, fanbase and facilities the Leafs can offer that other teams cannot.

Frankly you come across as a typical Leaf hating fan, I don't mind that as I hate the Nucks and Habs, but at least be sensible and logical with your posts pertaining to the team. By your logic Chara shouldn't have signed in Boston, nor should have Savard, or Gaborik with the Rangers, etc etc.

I was watching one of Kovy's off-season videos from 2 or 3 summers ago. And he mentioned dreaming of playing in Toronto one day.. nearly shat myself... I believe I linked kareem at the time... did a quick youtube search and none of them reminded me of what the video looked like.... I need to shit & shower and leave for work within 8min... running around 2 hours late because... I decided to make a few calls at start from home.
