Until OEL hits his potential, it is just that: Potential. Karlsson's a premier puck-moving d-man. The argument will have more validity when OEL hits the level people project him to. But there is risk attached to that.

but clearly Karlsson is the superior player as it stands, and OEL is mostly just potential (and although i hear you yelling about his 2 goal game, really? you see them? cause....)

In both of their drafts there are superior dmen drafted before and after them, IMO.
