Exactly Mike. If another GM had asked you'd have given it to them because it doesnt matter. Tony will find a way to make SJS his own team with his trades. He wants SJS as a fan. Who cares? Give him his favourite team. This argument does not impact me AT ALL. But if Tony gets his team, it will build a better community. It let's other GMs know that BBKL accommodates their hockey "fandom." I.e. if Nick and Shook ever wanted to play each other during the regular season, I don't think anyone would give a shit if they purposely set that match-up in the schedule. It adds to their experience as friends in real life. This is an act of goodwill that really does not impact shit in the long run at all. Give the guy his favourite team.

If it was as simple as swapping CBS assets this wouldn't be an issue. But it's way more than that. Spreadsheet's for anybody that owns these picks, backtracking any trades made by NYI or SJS to track down picks/assets, etc.
