I don't think that's the case, I'm rather confident there would have been a couple of teams willing to add him IF he was healthy. Probably done enough damage to his body, made enough money, and is ready to have a life/family.

Now that's funny since it's kind of true. Ranger is the worst team to give out contract that they can't explain. Like How can you still be a gm after making soo many errors.
