Absolutely, but if I want someone I'll make an offer. I just don't like hearing "isn't available, I'll keep him". I almost always at least make an offer.

I truly had 100% no intention of trading those guys (Clowe, Brower, Tanguay, etc) I never made a thread advertising never sent 1 pm out making a offer. I got many many gms asking what I wanted, but if I plan on keeping them thats what I tell them. But just like everyone here if all of a sudden you get a offer, that you can't refuse (not just overpayment...could be a perfect fit for your long term plans) well you can't refuse. When I get offer that I really really like, I don't like to piss off the gm by then going out and advertising..Ya sometimes I get riped off by not doing this, but just the way I roll.

And in a few cases, I did promise certain gms that if I was ever going to trade certain players I would let them have a crack, and yep I felt like a douche bag, but I totally forgot at trade time...

In the future I will try to advertise players before I pull the final pin...
