You fucked aaron over hard,,,,which confused me....cause your brother is a super guy, usually a good GM. He doens't like to make deals but holy hell, when he makes one he gets fucked over hard.mr. bruin wroteCOLONLol, It went beyond him to the manager before as well. yeah I can't believe you actually fucked over your brother. I mean, he is your brother after all.
You'd think a brother with some hockey sense like you have would have helped his bro out, not taken advantage of him. I mean FUCK, look at that TERRIBLE trade he made with fucking minnesota too. What the fuck was going on?!
Re: Warning policy: Board.
Shenanigans ... I bet he doesn't even have a brother.
Re: Warning policy: Board.
HeHe...Blood don't mean nothing when it comes to fantasy. We've been battling for years and years. We are in another keeper league that I or Steve has won or been near the top every season and Aaron finally took us down this season. He knows alot but id say i got the upper hand on him. He found this league to be very overwhelming and wasn't considering the long term ramifications of alot of his deals. I tried to give him good advice but hes pretty stubborn. One thing i did say that he listed to was Do Not Trade Del Zotto. I think he was close to trading him to scott. Instead he traded staal for a bag of pucks...lol.Nighthock wroteCOLONShenanigans ... Re: Warning policy: Board.
I set my targets on certain players and offered until he finally accepted. Kept raising the price, traded certain players at the right time and did my research. I dont give two fucks about anyone elses team whether it be my brother aunt or dog. I care about my team and if i can get a good deal i will go after it hard. Would you have sympathy for your brother f you knew he knew alot about hockey and had been battling him year after year in various fantasy formats? I think not. I gave as much advice as i could and tried my hardest to train him. He obviously never listened. What you didnt like the Callahan and Gilroy deals? Well you got Manny Legace for a 5th rounder so its even now....KapG wroteCOLON

No I wouldn't but my brother knows hockey and wouldn't make stupid trades like that.
Your bro clearly didn't know too much/you didn't train him that well lol.
And no, I didn't like any of the trades that were made to be honest.
REQUEST !!!
Not a formal warning, but for members who do not post a reasonable amount we will start sending requests for more activity. If you do not think your up for being an active member of the league let us know, there will not be any hard feelings -
> we understand this is the off-season, but come here and share your opinions, get your hockey fix... if we have 30 GM's doing that it will make the off-season go faster !!!!
this is specifically aimed at GM's with post count is under-50 & w/o up to date team pages or poor PM response rate.
in regards to PMs: Even if the offer is horrible, make a reply saying as much, or an quickly ridiculous request.

Re: REQUEST !!!
I'm 100% with this as long as common sense is used. For example I am here (way too much) all the time, make trades, update my team sheets the second I make a change, but I do not make too many posts. I just really enjoy reading what people have to say, and don't have a lot of time to get into arguments and what not. I have belonged to Hf boards (am there daily for 8 or 9 years now) but have under 2000 posts, just the way I am. I no this isn't directed at me, but I just don't want a good gm kicked out for not meeting 1 of the above requirments...There are a few Gm however who I never see, who hardly ever return a PM, and the biggest thing that pisses me off is there team page in not up to date. I have gotten bugged a couple of time to get a signature or what ever there called, but I have never been on photo shop in my life (and probably never will), and call me cheap but I'm not trading a pick to get one. And for also not having my team in a spreadsheet. Well my computer my home computer is about 8 years old, and it doesn't even have Excel on it, so I do my best so anybody could understand my team page, but at least the effort is there. We definitely need some more effort from a few other wise good GM'S.facey wroteCOLONNot a formal warning, but for members who do not post a reasonable amount we will start sending requests for more activity. Re: Warning policy: Board.
Chris, having an updated page likely trumps the posting. We've been preaching that forever and not everybody complies.

Re: Warning policy: Board.
Guys, like my post says: we are not currently giving warning for lack of posting, however various CC members have brought it up as an issues against certain GM's, and as such I thought a request for increased activity was a reasonable idea.
We all have opinions on what's going on in the hockey world right now... share them! even if we're opinionated, the 'hockey IQ' of our group far surpasses the junk you'll find on all the forums.
If you think you belong in this league long term, which personally I can see all 30 working out if they chose to, focus on a couple of things:
- up to date team pages (do it at time of trade, expecting other GM's to track if for you is sheer BS)
- be active in terms of offers/responses & forum posting (even the BS comments, offers, etc.)
- be confident in your own plan, and show that you want to be competitive
