Posting of private conversations
Posting of private conversations
From this point forward, let it be known that you will be considered very douche-baggy if you post private conversations between two willing parties. This could be PM's or MSN log files. Seriously. Keep it away from the forums. It is dirty. Have respect for your fellow GM's no matter the content. If you are feeling threatened in any way, contact an admin. Anything else, deal with it. The need for gratification and pat on backs is pretty pathetic. PM stands for PRIVATE MESSAGE. Private means what now??? the same goes for MSN and log files. Don't fucking do it. Can anyone really disagree with me? Is it not a major slight to have a private conversation with someone only to have it posted in a public forum? Please smarten up and show some respect to the way we do our business in here. There are some unwritten boundaries being crossed that really should not need to be written.

Re: Posting of private conversations
by the way I did that once since I felt that vancouver was being a jerk. Also said I wouldn't do it but I did it again today to repair my rep since he posted a fake deal.mr. bruin wroteCOLONFrom this point forward, let it be known that you will be considered very douche-baggy if you post private conversations between two willing parties. I believe you should be aloud to put a convo if someone post you made a deal and if you say i didn't then it s is word vs yours. By putting the convo in the thread¸, it show the world that I wasn't lying.
By the way Thx for the sig....

Fuck Scott...i actually laughed pretty good when i read your post. The only ones that ever get posted as being funny are Franks. Maybe he can have his own stickied thread where you guys post his funny chats. Even he deserves some respect though, unless he is actually trying to be funny and knows you will post it. I think most people can use there own judgement moving ahead. Just had to point out that really, we do have some boundaries. Shouldn't have had to make a post about it but i think it is necessary atm.

I agree a 100% with you since you shouldn't be afraid when you offer something that the offer could end up in a thread for the world to see.mr. bruin wroteCOLONFuck Scott...i actually laughed pretty good when i read your post. Re: Posting of private conversations
I think people who post private conversations from MSN with malicious or acrimonious intent should be beaten with a bunch of Scott's dildos and Kareem's assless chaps he got for MPS a couple of years ago.
Re: Posting of private conversations
Frank, it should never have even made it this far. Whether it is you or him who started it. Both of you have made it clear that you no longer have respect for eachother because of failed trade talks in a fantasy hockey forum. fine. whatever. Take the high road and dont feed the flames. If someone is being a dick, will arguing back and forth go anywhere? You guys are adults though right? I think you both understand that this stuff is not going to end well and it really has no point being posted. I want no part in your personal conversations where there is conflict. Please understand that it is no good for anyone involved.

Nudge
Guess who!
Btw - I agree with kyle, PMs are meant for the intended person only.

Re: Posting of private conversations
a) I'm with Kyle
b) jokes obvious exceptions
c) msn, pm, etc are not final acceptance of a trade. There's nothing to bitch about if a GM backs out before the deal is confirmed on BBKL.
** if someone comments on a deal before it is confirmed, and the confirming party backs out, IMO the commenting party should be given a warning (just had that idea). As the deals are NOT complete until confirmed.

I agree with not posting private conversations to hurt someone's rep.. it's ridiculous. Funny shit, I'm down with.

Re: Posting of private conversations
One side airing a dispute is unfair to the other party. If both guys wants some mediation, then I think that's healthy. To just post something to essentially slam the other guy is only going to cause more of a rift. Either solve your issues behind the scenes or back away and try to solve your problem later when emotions don't get in the way. Nobody truly wins an argument.

I always win my arguments.
Re: Posting of private conversations
Yea winning an argument in a virtual online community never happens. It can go until the cows come home and then someone quits. Ask Kareem about Ryan...lol
