And I'm sure for the rest of his career. I've been saying his game is suited for the wing for a long time.

Last year Burke called him a centre. Torts insinuated dubey would be a winger, our subjective system followed those, yet Babcock constantly calls zetty a centre and it's ignored. That is speculation and nothing else.

I don't think his game is that of a wingers, now 1-2 development years on the wing seems to be fairly common.

Kyle you're supposed the be the head of the cc and you had tons and excessive amounts of time to weigh in more then you chose to. Our new/current system isn't opinion or rumour based

Typically you're a little more mature then starting pissing wars in the public forum, yes some other gm who was effected will raise hell about how the rule is wrong - but we're past that now. The # of speculations about a player changing positions is hundredfold to the number of times they actually do (full time/long term).

Please don't read this with a hostile tone - not written in anger, dislike or any such negative feelings.

Nick buddy, come on. I did weigh in and totally support it. I find the pissing matches very entertaining. I was just waiting for the first post for someone to say "Hey, Brian Burke said so" as proof to fight our new system. This is just one of those issues that we discussed that will potentially lower a players value in the short term. Not much, but it affects what teams might want to acquire such a player, if he is indeed on the market. A team looking to win, interest drops, a team looking to tank, interest rises. Imagine if you could put 5 bbkl labeled centers in active roster, when in fact they are known to be playing wing from season start on? That all but guarantees you a loss in the FOW category. Take that as a tip from the BBKL Stanley Cup NOT Champion all you rebuilders ;)

I love those signings for the blues as they don't really have strong vet leadership. I think bringing these guys in will help their young guys become great professionals. Both one year deals so there really isnt any down side to these contracts at all. Smart move.

Langenbrunner should have been a strong leader in both Dallas and Jersey. Sadly enough, he was neither. Just a fucking nuisance.

Arnott is a good one though.

McDonald - Backes - Stewart
Steen - Berglund - Oshie
D'Agostini - Arnott - Langenbrunner
Crombeen - Nichol - Sobokta/Porter

IR: Perron

That's looking pretty solid when you slot Perron in on line 2 and bump everybody down.
