We are looking at different numbers, I am referring to the regulaur season, and you are referring to the post season.facey wroteCOLONRichards had 18:52/game with 2min's shorthand, and actually the least of everyone we're talking about even strength.
Crater had less toi/game and played short handed (18:14, 40second SH, for Jeff versus 18:18 that Dany played none of which shorthanded)
Giroux lead forward in TOI by a fair margin, leading their forwards in PP and SH, however Dany led the team in EV toi.
Anyways, the suggestion that Grioux moves anywhere but the the #1 centre role, that he by all indications had already, or that Briere somehow loses toi, is simply wrong. Sure perhaps in 1-2 years they project Schenn to be playing a big role, but saying he's already earned a top 6 role seems out to lunch to me.
In regards to your second post, I never claimed that Schenn takes over for Giroux and Briere, in fact I think he starts off on the third line, but eventually will supplant Briere as the second line center, or force one of Giroux/Briere to the wing.
