This is dumb lol one switch Kareem to the Central, just to shut everyone up and then lets never talk about this crap again. Actually The pacific could also be in the mix espcially with the rise of the blackhawks. Not trying to insult the teams in the pacific but Steve ran train on that division without being challanged. I could care less about Kareem coming into my division but one division in the west with one of the 1/2/3 spots + 4 and 5 would be dumb.

the question on those teams isnt will they be in the playoffs, its "should" they be in the playoffs lol.

I agree. look at the east in the NHL no where near as many good teams but I just don't want to have to listen to all the bitching again this year. I actually do think it will eventually average out but only through good drafting and asset managment. Fix it now or forever hold your toungue lol.

actually, the NHL is set to reshuffle next year, so if it is ever going to happen, that would be the only appropriate time.

and by then, people's perception of which division is weaker will have probably changed..

If the NHL is going to opt towards radical realignment (4 divisions), let's just sit tight until they make their decision. The only change this year should be Luke taking his talents to Manitoba...and I see the switch has been made.
