Mike Richards traded to Los Angeles

The overhaul of the Philadelphia Flyers continued on Thursday, as the club shipped captain Mike Richards to the Los Angeles Kings.

Coming back to the Philadelphia are forwards Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds.

I like the Carter deal but I don't see why this was needed as well. Guess the flyers brass didnt believe in what they had...

BTW LAK are going to be insane. Kopitar/Richards is a nice one/two. Both extremely good two way centers who can put up 70+, kopitar could reach 90-100 if they can land a winger.

This defies logic...Brayden Schenn at best compares to, Mike Richards. The locker room issues in PHI had to have been true.

Had to be some big time hatred between Carter and Richards or something..In the end they couldn't work it out, so Philly said fuck ya both... This is just unbelievable to me

I agree. I didn't think it was true but man there has to be something there for all this to go down. One of them traded thats fine but both? mikey seems like a character though.

It's crazy...You don't just deal two proven #1 centers, nevermind Mike Richards who is widely regarded as the standard for all captains...
