Re: RI-DIRK-ULOUS
This is a series that is going to be talked about for generations. Dirk has won everything now. NBA MVP, Finals MVP, NBA Championship and he has done it by defeating one of the most stacked teams ever on paper. This is not to mention the fact that Dirk is the anti-Lebron. While Lebron left his team to create the dream team in Miami, Dirk stuck it out with Dallas. What would everyone have thought of Crosby if he left the Pens to sign with Detroit? And what would everyone have said if that team lost to a team like Tampa Bay led by St. Louis.

It was an awesome series, I'm stoked Dallas won it, one because I am incredibly disgusted with Bosh and Lebron's departures from Toronto and Cleveland respectively, but moreso because Dallas finally got over the hump. They have had incredible playoff failures in the past, most notably their first round upset against GS a few years ago, it's also nice to see: Nowitzki, Kidd, Marion and Terry win one after such decorated careers.

This is not a series that will be talked about for generations, your playing it off as if David beat Goliath. In the regulaur season these two teams were separated by a single win, further consider that Dallas plays in a superior conference and division.SuperMario wroteCOLONThis is a series that is going to be talked about for generations. Miami has the star power but this series has once again proven that you cannot win without a strong supporting cast, Dallas had one, Miami didn't.
In regards to your second point, Lebron and Bosh are chastised for the manner in which they left, not because they left. Every athlete has the right to do what's best for them come FA.

Ugh...I hate ignorant comments like these, even as a joke. It's like when Americans claim that no one likes hockey outside of Canada, both statements are clearly untrue. If you don't like b-ball, simply don't enter into a b-ball related thread.Kezia wroteCOLONNobody outside of the USA cares about basketball.

no Kareem. Lebron did not show up in these finals. That is why Miami lost. not because of supporting cast. Next year if he learns from this Miami can win with this exact same team.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThis is not a series that will be talked about for generations, your playing it off as if David beat Goliath. and Lebron is hated on because he left. how he left is just the cherry on top. no one really gives a shit about Bosh other than Raptors fans lol.
