I to will agree that 5.4M and 3 years seems like a good pay-day for him this early. However if our starter makes 1.8M for the next 3 seasons we are laughing.

I think its a good deal. He was either going to sign a 1 yr deal worth probably around 1mil, at which point if he preformed well again he would really cash in, or sign the type of deal he did. I think it is a nice fair deal.
