boogaard's death has been news for a while now. nhl.com has still not put the news as its main story with a picture. its off on the right side under top headlines. instead the main story on the front with a picture is granlunds goal. normally nhl.com updates almost instantly.

that makes no sense. if it was crosby dying, itd be on the front page of every news paper. an nhl player died. that too at the age of 28. as an organization that should be the only main story.

There is a difference between Sidney Crosby and Derek Boogard or any other NHL'er for that matter. That's just the way it is, not sure why it is an issue for you.
