Ive done this before on HF with a few of our members and found it to be a lot of fun.
Rules:
- There will be a 23 round draft.
- I will be conducting the draft lottery on Tuesday May 17th, this will give teams time to adjust accordingly before the draft starts.
- The Draft will Commence Tuesday May 24th at 12pm Eastern.
- All players will be assumed healthy but must have played at least 1 NHL game this season.
- Trades will be allowed but there would be a cut off date, likely 1 week after the 23rd round.
- To Keep things simple there will be no Salary Cap.
- Draft order will be relegated by a random lottery and will be a snake draft. Ie. one who has 1st overall in the 1st round will pick last in the 2nd round etc.
- Also to keep things simple, our team names would be the same as your bbkl team name.
- It will be your duty to pm the person who picks after you, once you have made your selection.
- Each pick will be on the clock for 12 hours, after which a player will be allowed to pick at anytime.
- During the hours of 12am-9am Eastern, there will be a clock freeze although picks will be allowed to be made during this time.
The purpose is to draft the best possible team to win a Stanley Cup (In your opinion of course)
Ideally there would be 3 Judges at the end of the draft to rank the teams and declare a winner.
Hopfully one of the admins could create a sub-forum so this would not flood the boards.
Everyone is welcome to join (including Franky
