Waiver Picks for a mid to late 1st
My prefered deal is to trade my early (4th) waiver pick + 2nd + 3rd rounders for a later 1st in the entry draft, but will listen to offers.

Good luck to one, good luck for all.

this reminds me of the time I asked for a 2nd Rounder for Benjamin Conz.

1. I said I would listen to offers
2. There are at least 5 unsigned college/CHL/European players that are just as good as any late pick in this years entry draft and my waiver pick is top 4...I had interest in that pick, I have a player in mind who I want for the pick, and don't mind keeping it.

Not sure what's wrong with Chris's asking price. Plenty of decent players taken last year, some already with NHL experience.
This is just a super quick list of people that stuck out. Surely I missed a bunch too.

2nd - Philadelphia Flyers: Casey Wellman
3rd - Nashville Predators: Mats Zuccarello-Aasen
4th - New Jersey Devils: Korbinian Holzer
5th - Atlanta Thrashers: Sergei Bobrovsky
6th - St. Louis Blues: Stephane De Costa
7th - Dallas Stars: Tomas Kopecky
8th - Tampa Bay Lightning: Jussi Rynnas
9th - Nashville Predators: Marcel Muller
14th - Washington Capitals: Jacob Muzzin
15th - Philadelphia Flyers: Brayden Irwin
18th - Tampa Bay Lightning: Ben Scrivens
22nd - Washington Capitals: Lance Bouma
36th - Tampa Bay Lightning: Simon Gysbers

I just put it up because I have had interest in the my 1st (not the 2nd or 3rd)....I plan on using the pick. I am just throwing it out so Gms know what I want if they want the pick...I can guarantee my 4th waiver pick, is just as good as any late 1st /early 2nd (25th-35th).

I also drafted Ben Smith in the waiver draft (56th pick)...had a solid playoffs for the Blackhawks and should get a full time spot next year.
While I think Chris asking for way too much, don't discount the potential value of a waiver pick. I'm hanging on to my #2 overall just because I don't think I'll get the value I want but the guy I take at the spot could be a career minor leaguer. It's a roll of the dice...
