Yeah but I didn't even take advantage of my schedule. Take a look at my 9 week winless drought against like 6 teams that missed the playoffs.

Ya.. I mean Colorado is a great team and had a fantastic year.. but with all due respect, I went 24-1 in match-ups, repeated as champ, had a 280-83-37 record and won the President's trophy by 45 points in the WAAAY tougher conference.. oh, and beat Colorado with 16 skaters in the finals. It is the ONLY award I feel I deserve.. but this is a democracy so let the people speak

No one is doubting that you and your NJD had the best year, hence the Presidents Trophy and the BBKL Stanley Cup... but GM of the year is guy that did the Best job GM-ing, and well you maintained status quo or even slightly improved your team, Shook took a nothing group to a group that is comparable with yours = over this season + playoffs was the best GM, IMO. Nothing criminal about it.

Awarded to who accomplished the most over the course of the season, actually. I know I had no where to go from 2009-2010 but imagine that, I got better by 44 points. Anyway, it doesn't matter.. I know who is/was the best and so does everyone else!

I think in a way you should also be considered for the luck award, now I voted for you for GM of the year because I agree I think it is a no brainer, but luck also helps you dont get destroyed by injuries like some teams have and that helps significantly.

I'm considered.. and I agree. I just think my depth carried me more then luck. I made my own luck if you know what I mean.
