whats amazing is that the vancouver-nashville series is the only one that didnt go 3-0. wtf is going on with detroit.

Howard, key guys playing injured while San Jose is pretty healthy and San Jose is a fucking deep team!

yeah but i mean two of the 3 games, detroit could have had. they just blew it. san jose has looked terrific though.

The series could be 3-0 DET, 2-1 DET, 2-1 SJS or what it is 3-0 SJS. All one goal games, 2 of which were decided in OT. In my opinion, that legs and how injured some of the Detroit guys are is making the difference. And Jimmy Howard fucking sucks. Niemi is making some big saves to keep the Sharks in games.. Howard is not.

Lol, the Bruins are a fucking joke when it comes to playoffs. Gets old...Lets bench Seguin and pretend its pre-season. Like i said before playoffs started, it is very frustrating supporting a team like the Bruins. They are the team version of Joe Thornton in the postseason.

haha, thanks Shep for reminding me of my ignorant rant. I guess thats why i always suck at picking playoff pools and winners. But fuck i was pissed after those two Montreal games. Look at this team and compare to the way they played those first two games against Habs. Night and day. Either way, Boston is looking good. I will be much happier when they are shaking hands with Flyers, if they can get there.

Do you watch hockey? Howard has been medium at best... He is letting in at least one horrid goal a game and hasn't been able to make the save when Detroit has needed it. If at any time Scotts comment was warranted it is now lol.

i have watched all 3 games Detroit has played vs SJ and most of theirs vs Phoenix, you're probably relying on highlights and so Howard's 2 bad goals stuck in your mind.. he has been saving Detroit's ass at least as many times as Niemi did for SJ.

Both goalies are doing fairly well.

Mik is right, just look at the shot count against Howard in the first three games. It is pretty outrageous.

I wouldn't blame Howard for being down 3-0...he's the reason they were in the first two games to begin with. Niemi has been better but all you have to be is one goal better than other team and that's what he's done. The team in front of him as been much more clutch...two third period GT goals followed by the GW in overtime. The Wings have yet to score a timely goal in this series. All the agression and tenacity they showed against Phoenix hasn't carried over to this series. They've out hit the Sharks in the series but what they did so well against the Coyotes was they had a tremendous forecheck and they beat up on the Phoenix defense and they created tons of traffic in front Bryzgalov and go shots through screens and traffic. The Sharks have done a better job getting in front of shots and using their length to knocks pucks away and derail the Wings from getting a good offensive flow. McLellan spent a few years coaching this team...he knows what makes them tick and he's been pushing all the right buttons this year and last year. The Sharks are probably the worst possible matchup for the Wings. I had picked the Wings to win because they looked like a stronger team heading into the series and Niemi scuffled in the Kings series. Niemi has righted the ship and they're on the verge of getting back to the Western Finals.

got Boston advancing, were out to lunch with the Caps, wishful thinking i guess.
